About The Artist

Born in 1970 in Rusape in eastern Zimbabwe, Shephard’s achievements in art date back to his primary school years in the 1980’s when he created numerous outstanding portraits, either by drawing or making clay moldings. He did not lose his interest in art in secondary school and was truly inspired by Job Kekana’s wood carvings at St Faith Mission School in Rusape.
